Welcome to Bahía Ballena in the amazing South Pacific of Costa Rica, where the resplendent green of mountains and flora can be admired year around. The name Costa Ballena (Whale Coast) is to honor the yearly arriving of whales to the region; these impressive mammals can be easily seen year after year from August to November when they come to mate and give birth to their calves. However the offshore marine life is very intense at any time of the year, you can experience turtles, dolphins, fishes, marine birds among other species in their natural habit.

The tourist region of Bahía Ballena embrace the coast from Dominical Beach to Ojochal, on this area there are important attractions to visit: Manuel Antonio National Park, Marino Ballena National Park, Corcovado National Park or dive in Caño Island Biological Reserve.
